Service Description

This service is a virtual, 60 minutes, one to one online appointment, tailored to your needs in an environment comfortable for you. Each video call session is delivered by Barry Taylor (Founder of Laugh Therapy) a fully insured, trained, certified and accredited laughter therapist, and is conducted direct with you through your PC/MAC, smart TV, mobile device or laptop, at an available appointment time to suit you. After completing your initial consultation which allows us to understand you and your aims, this carefully structured, personalised programme of Laugh Therapy classes begins. Each of these 1 to 1 appointments will incorporate talking therapy, mindfulness education, challenges, yogic breathing exercises, strategies for recognising your mindset, environment and behaviour patterns and activities specifically designed to elicit mirthful laughter. You will also be set short, weekly (ho-ho-homework) tasks designed to invigorate and improve your wellbeing and cement new routines. Our aim is to assist you in reaching the personal targets agreed in your initial consultation. Each of these subsequent sessions is designed to guide you towards achieving those goals. Virtual 1 to 1 sessions are great value compared with other registered laughter therapists (some in excess of £100 for an in-person session). They are also ideal for those unable to attend group workshops or feel more comfortable in their home environment. 10% and 20% discounts are available to those block booking their sessions.
