Service Description

Staff Laugh workshops are fun, fast-paced, online energisers which can be specifically tailored to your teaching teams. Our 30 minute virtual mini-sessions are one-off practical workshops designed to give staff a much needed boost during their non-contact time, training day or faculty meeting. This need not be a lunch break. You can schedule your Staff Laugh at a time to suit your team. You can book an online virtual group workshop and receive our live, personalised practical service direct through your PC/MAC, laptop, smart TV or mobile device at an available appointment time to suit you. The Staff Laugh mini-workshop provides a fun introduction to Laughter Yoga, (yogic breathing, gentle, physical stretching and laughter inducing exercises). It also incorporates practical, interactive, laughter-based activities and an introduction to how laughter therapy can build resilience and reduce burnout. All our sessions are designed to stem some of the adrenaline and cortisol, reducing stress and anxiety. It also provides a heart-healthy boost, improving mood and wellbeing by activating the body's naturally produced, health-enhancing chemicals and endorphins. The price includes both the planning and the delivery of the virtual workshop. The session is live, interactive, practical and not pre-recorded or streamed. Additional, live in-person workshops are encouraged, where our accredited laughter therapist (and former Initial Teacher Trainer) can visit and run a practical session (or longer leadership team, teachers, trainees or teaching assistants training workshop). These offer more personalised, in-depth approaches to transform your work environment, group dynamics and employee wellbeing, using exercises, activities and strategies that are even more effective in an interactive live setting.
